Small & Scrappy Book Giveaway

Can you stand yet another post about my new book? How about if it involves a free copy? This week I'm giving away a signed copy of the book -

I know some of you may have already bought a copy but, if you win, give it away to a needy friend.

To enter your name, leave me a comment here telling me what you would like to see in my next book (not sure there will even BE a next one but what the heck . . . I'd still like to hear). Also, please leave an e-mail address or way for me to contact you.

I'll announce the winner on Sunday.

Good luck!

I adore your work. There is something I would like to see and that is some of your patterns like "Be My Little Valentine" in multiple sizes. Small quilt, lap top quilt and another size. I paticularly like lap top or size I can drape on a chair or at the end of a bed that doesn't have too much bulk since I cover my beds with off white martha washington type bedspreads. Just an idea.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year

I would love to see a sampler quilt made with small blocks, or maybe different layouts for the blocks in the sampler. I get bored making the same blocks over and over for a quilt, so samplers are my favorite way to go!

I would love a to win a copy of Small & Scrappy! Kathy - I would love to have a signed copy of your book. Your work inspires me daily! Since I love what you have done, I would be very happy with more of the same, but our younger quilters might like something vintage with a modern twist. My daughter recently asked for a quilt where the blocks looked like they were floating. I accomplished it by adding some "shading" fabric to two sides of the blocks before I sashed it and it appeared to be floating. She loved it.

Love this book, and for your "next" book, I enjoy traditional style quilt projects, love the history of the blocks my grandmother used....

I love your books....they are real eye candy, and so inspiring! I have them all except for this new one, which I will order if I don't win.
I honestly can't think of anything you could add. Maybe something in Prussian Blue? It's such a pretty color...Barbara Brackman has written about it on her blog.

I look forward to any patterns you design. I enjoy your quilts in any size. Bookcase or table runners are always useful. When a quilt can either be a wall hanging or have another purpose is also very useful. Thanks for the chance to win your lovely book.

If you choose to write another book--and I hope you do!--I'd love to see a small size Burgoyne Surrounded quilt. It would be lovely made in your favorite blue with a white or muslin colored light. annparks@yahoo.com

Hi Kathleen, Your books are all wonderful. Congratulations on the newest one. I would LOVE to win it. Thank you for the chance to try. An idea for a quilt in another book would be a quilt from a different country. One showing the style of what bed sized quilts from whatever country you'd choose would look like. In the colors that country uses a lot. Happy Healthy 2017. Sharon bedreamer333@yahoo.com

Wouldn't it be fun to start with page 1 of Brackman and make a small version of every block?!!!!

Would love to win this! Since we retired have not purchased your books (5 years now), so this would be new and another wonderful adventure for me. Have Civil War Sewing Circle, and love the ideas there! It would be a great way to spend these cold wintery snowy days yet to come working on little things to get me motivated again to finish the bigger ones. Thank you for this possibility!

I would love to win this book. Sometimes I want to make a nice big quilt and then I realize it's a mini. So I guess I would like your book to show bigger sizing.

GranChris said...

I don't know what would be next. I love these little minis. Last night I thought I would find patterns for a monthly theme as a wedding present.

I have all your books and I love them all. I just finished making the top of the January challenge - so much fun.

I especially liked the books where you combined history and quilts. So maybe another book with excerpts from a pioneer women's diary along with quilts that would coordinate with that time period.

Thanks for your generosity.
