Primitive Craft Sale

One of my favorite places to visit every year on Black Friday is my friend Karen's primitive craft sale at her home in Elgin, Illinois.  Today also happens to be Small Business Saturday. A perfect day to support your local quilter and crafter.

Tons of great gift items. They make everything they sell.

I know I'm a little late with this info but there's still time to get over there if you live in the Chicago area. The sale is on today (Saturday) from 10 - 4:00.

I'm in Illinois but still it's a bit of a hike so I can't attend. I love everything I saw! How fun to be there.

Hi Kathleen.
May I buy these nice quilts on the web? I'm italian so I cannot visit your friend.
Thank you.

Oh! I wish I could have gone! What an amazing display of lovelies. I also could have visited my brother, who has a store in Elgin - Andersen's Trophy's and Wedding Invitations.

Thank you for posting pictures of Karen's sale. I wouldn't be able to attend due to distance but always love to see pictures. Everything looks beautiful.

Wonderful post Kathy, was planning on going with Robin. I am just so booked till Christmas quilting for customer's, that I felt I couldn't take the time away in order to go and finish my work in decent enough time. I was hoping I would see pictures...thanks again! Bill and Karen do make wonderful hand crafts<3

That craft sale looks fantastic. A couple years ago you posted pictures of doll beds you bought from them. I HAD to have one and contacted them about it. They said they had never sold and shipped any before. They agreed to sell one to me and I still love it. Glad to see they have a website now. I just may have to buy another. Great pictures, thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing these delightful photos. I would love one of everything shown. Unfortunately, I am states away. Certainly the items will all find wonderful homes, and be much loved.
