This sweet nine-patch quilt by Country Threads is one I have to make someday. I've even bought the same border fabric already. So simple and yet so pretty.
I like making 9 patches, too. I think the prettiest quilt for a baby is simply 9 Patch and Snowball.Plus it is very fast. Sometimes I will add embroidery to the Snowball blocks.
What a great idea and such a cute quilt. I keep my scraps by my machine so I can try different stitches on them, but they are usually unusual sizes. Thanks for sharing. Noreen
Kathy, i agree, 9-patch blocks are so fun & versatile, i love making them! I store all my leftover (orphan) blocks including quite a few 9-patch blocks in a tin.. think i need a bigger tin :))
I'm a quilt designer and author of seven quilting books. I love making quilts with an antique look and find inspiration in quilts from the past and the women who made them.

I love making 9-patches. I have a stack of them that I already made up and use them in my small quilts or table toppers :)
