Not for sale, Darn. Made for Karen by Jennifer M.
Another lovely gift from Jennifer!
I bought the tray along with a few other goodies.
This time I got a more extensive tour of the Schultz home.
Love this rug . . .
Ran into Cheryl Barkdoll from the Small Quilt Talk group.
On my way out, my car would not start. I figured something like this would happen soon especially since just yesterday I mentioned how grateful I was that my car was still running (it's old but not quite dead yet). I called Triple A and waited for over an hour for someone to come out and take a look or give me a jump start. Got tired of waiting so I tried it again and lo and behold it started that time. I made it home and immediately drove over to my friendly neighborhood auto service station. Yep, it just needed a new battery. They fixed me right up in an hour and despite all of that, it was still a very happy Day-After Thanksgiving. I think it's time for some leftover pie . . .
Kathy despite your car troubles, it looks like a wonderful time! My husband Mark and I will be driving to Karen and Bill's in the morning!!! I can't wait:))) I was hoping to see you as well but understand if you don't come by Karen's again. Everything looks wonderful in their home<3

Kathy, what a delightful post.. i never tire of seeing Karen & Bill's beautiful creations. Their home is everything i imagined it would be, warm and so very inviting, with sweet surprises in every room. You picked up some lovely goodies!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it home safely :))
Kathy, It's always a treat to visit with you, glad to hear you made it home safely, and with not too much damage to your pocketbook (as my grandmother would say) to fix the problem. At least it gave us more time to visit. Thanks again for your support.....
ReplyDeleteGlad that you got home safe.
ReplyDeleteThe tour was amazing. Everything is gorgeous.
What fun you had.
I arrived at Karen's just after you left Kathy. Sorry I missed you! Oh what a fun time! Many wonderful treasures followed me home.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of all of you getting to go to Karen's house. What a beautiful home and wonderful goodies.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kathy, for all the photos of Karen's lovely home. Here country style decorating is exactly what I love, everything looks so perfectly charming! I envy all you Illinois quilters who can get together for visiting and shopping, how lucky you are!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to a sale like that. It would be embarrassing to be seen drooling over all the lovely items, though! And, of course, I live in Oregon.
