Be...What Would Jane Do is my mantra for my blocks. Because when Brenda's pattern doesn't match Jane's block, WWJD gives me the answer.

Jane, I'm sure, was just picking up scraps from her scrap bag or worn-out clothes or her neighbours. She tried it this way and that, wondering how much she could get out of this tiny scrap, and in what shapes, and probably worked from the centre out, making it up as she went along.

So though I'm pretty anal about most things, I'm pretty Janish about Jane's blocks.Susan Dhttp://www.dalyght.ca/quiltynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8153120810861642199.post-21108547487272333042013-12-28T20:13:03.210-06:002013-12-28T20:13:03.210-06:00I love reading about your Dear Jane blocks and see...I love reading about your Dear Jane blocks and seeing your photos....keep going slow and steady wins the race!! I really like the look of your blocks with various background fabrics. I had been wondering if I should buy one fabric for all the backgrounds or if I could make it scrappy (which I love). I will probably join your yahoo group once I get going. I think I'm crazy as I have multitude other projects to finish or that I need to start - for graduation and anniversary gifts. But I just LOVE that quilt and have been thinking about it for years!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11912222251238739813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8153120810861642199.post-56909490022678192912013-12-28T16:10:34.783-06:002013-12-28T16:10:34.783-06:00Te estan quedando fantasticos, enhorabuena.

Are you just choosing what you like as each block starts?
